Charles Sherman
The Trinity Cross was designed by sculptor and jewelry designer Charles Sherman. His art and jewelry designs are influenced by a lifelong study of the Bible and sacred geometry. His philosophy for life and approach to art are the same: to promote the positive. Sherman wants to share the beautiful Trinity Cross with all believers in Jesus Christ’s glory and His promise of Eternal Life.
The sacred geometry of the Trinity Cross design was inspired by the Holy Trinity and expresses it from every angle. The design’s first incarnation was in clay in 2011 when Charles Sherman made a free-standing ceramic sculpture. He was then inspired to transform the design into a solid sterling silver pendant, using the traditional lost wax method.
Although the Trinity Cross appears simple and geometric, its design is actually organic. Made up of eight integrated triangles, the subtle curvature in each of its planar surfaces creates the elegant, harmonious Trinity Cross design.
